Following the emergence of clear UV coatings for wood and plastic substrates in the 90’s, recent advances in technology have created new application opportunities.  UV coatings can now be formulated in a wider range of pigments and properties as well as adhesion to metal, glass and a wide variety of substrates.  In this session you’ll learn the basics of UV chemistry to end-use properties, application & curing equipment and potential cost savings.  We’ll also go “live” through an Internet feed to see UV curing in action inside a working plant.
