Hotel Reservation Policies
  • No telephone reservations will be accepted.
  • All reservation requests must be made through the FIN-X '07 Housing Bureau, NOT with individual hotels.
  • A one-night plus tax deposit must accompany your reservation. Credit cards or checks are accepted for the deposit. Your deposit will appear on your hotel statement as a credit.
  • Requests are processed in the order that they are received. If your hotel choices are not available, you will be placed in the next available hotel.
  • Most room rates quoted include a $5 reservation rebate to the
    FIN-X '07 Housing Bureau to cover administrative processing costs.
  • You will receive an acknowledgement within 3 weeks of receipt of your housing form indicating the hotel at which you have been assigned. Check the acknowledgment immediately to ensure all information is correct. Notify the Housing Bureau immediately if changes are required. Corrections may not be possible if you delay in notifying the Housing Bureau of errors.
  • No shows will be charged to the credit card listed below for all room nights reserved.

FIN-X '07 encourages participants in the Conference & Exposition to book their overnight accommodations at the official FIN-X '07 hotels listed above.  FIN-X '07 makes every effort to secure the best possible room rate.  This rate is part of the negotiated overall event package and FIN-X '07saves money if the number of event attendees staying at the contracted hotels exceeds a negotiated minimum.  This in turn allows FIN-X '07 to keep booth costs and registration fees from increasing.  So, please consider making your hotel reservation through the FIN-X '07 housing bureau.  Thank you for your support.


 TRAVEL INFORMATION

Getting Around Indianapolis
Downtown Indianapolis is a walking city. The convention center, our host hotels and a variety of restaurants and shops are all within easy walking distance of one another. There is no need to rent a car. Shuttle service or taxis are available from the airport to the host hotels.

Ground Transportation
Carey Indiana provides reasonable transportation from the Indianapolis International Airport to all FIN-X '07 hotels in downtown Indianapolis. As we get closer to the event, a discount coupon will be available on-line for Carey Indiana share shuttle service.  For more information and to view Carey Indiana's current rates, click here. To pick-up Carey Indiana transportation from the airport, proceed to the Ground Transportation Center outside of the baggage claim area and simply pick up the courtesy phone for Carey Indiana and a vehicle will arrive within ten minutes.  Cab fare from the airport to downtown is approximately $25 - $30 one way.

What to Wear
Early fall in Indianapolis is quite comfortable. Temperatures can be expected to be in the mid 60's to low 70's. We recommend business casual for the conference and exhibition and be sure to bring a light jacket for cooler evenings.
